This April, the Autism Society of Indiana will work to #CelebrateDifferences for Autism Acceptance Month by hosting 30 days of Autism. 30 days of Autism is an inclusive way of recognizing the array of experiences, resources, and adventures within the Autism community and emphasizing the need for equitable access to support and services. Each day in the month of April will have either a virtual or in-person event. These events include Pacers Game, Sensory Friendly Day at Smiley's and Chuck E Cheese, workshops, educational talks on mental health and nutrition, and Interactive live chats with Autism Leaders. Last year, During the month of April, 500+ individuals participated in a virtual or in-person event, our social media platforms reached over 18,000 people, and positive social media shares on Instagram and Facebook increased by 74%. Becoming a Partner during 30 days of Autism gives the opportunity for donors and community leaders to “sponsor a day/event” on the calendar.
